At dinner with retired CJ Wayne Martin and Sitpah Selvaratnam
Retired Chief Justice of Western Australia was recently in Kuala Lumpur to present a paper on Expert Witnesses in Arbitration at the Asian International Arbitration Centre. He shared his many years of experience as a litigator and subsequently as a judge; and spoke about the advantages and disadvantages between having multiple expert witnesses (a practice known as “hot tubbing”) and a single joint expert witness. The talk was sponsored by 39 Essex Chambers, Kuala Lumpur.
Prior to the talk, our Managing Partner, Loong Caesar was invited to an informal dinner at the residence of the Australian High Commissioner, in honour of Mr. Justice Martin.
